First Time with Atmoph Window

Hello everyone, this is Kyohei from the Atmoph Development Team.

For those using Atmoph Window for the first time with Yo, you might wonder, “What features does it have besides views?” This time, I’d like to introduce features other than Views of Atmoph Window.

Apps (Google Calendar, Weather)

Let’s start with the prominent “Apps” feature in the MENU.

Calendar

By linking your Google account, you can easily check your daily schedule at a glance. Events entered on your smartphone or tablet are synchronized. You can also hide personal calendars and display only shared family calendars for convenience.

In addition to the monthly calendar, you can display the day’s schedule. Using the “Daily Routine” feature, you can set it to display only during the time before heading to work or school in the morning.

To link your Google account:
MENU > Settings > Apps > Calendar > Google Account

Weather/Today

The weather app lets you check weather forecasts for specific locations by hour or day. “Today” combines the weather and calendar, making it very handy for a quick morning check of the day’s schedule and weather.

To set a weather location:
MENU > Settings > Apps > Weather

Widgets

Widgets display useful information at the edge of the landscape.

Most users display the clock or location name, but you can also show weather forecasts, upcoming events (from Google Calendar), and even the number of people watching the same landscape in real time.

To place widgets:
MENU > General > Widgets

Decorations

Decorations add window frames to the front of the landscape, making it feel like a real window. Choose from wooden frames, castle-style bay windows, or even moving snow decorations. This feature can dramatically change your room’s atmosphere, so adjust it to fit your mood!

To change decorations:
MENU > Quick > Decorations

Soundscape

Soundscape creates ambient music that matches the landscape and plays it automatically. It’s perfect for those who want relaxing music but find strong beats distracting.

Produced by musician Toshiyuki Yasuda, various musicians have performed sound elements that are combined into unique patterns, creating one-of-a-kind music every time.

To adjust “thickness” and “volume”:
MENU > Quick > Soundscape

Note: Initial data download may take some time.

Daily Routines

Daily Routine lets you schedule various actions based on time. While “programming” might sound complicated, it’s just about setting times and actions—super simple!

Basic settings include:

Turning the power ON in the morning
Turning the power OFF at night

Once you get used to it, try more personalized routines:

Show the calendar only in the morning
Weekdays at 8:15, sound an alarm for school time!
At 10 PM, hide widgets and reduce brightness to 50%.

To set up Daily Routine:
MENU > General > Daily Routine

Auto (Only for Limitless)

Turning “Auto” ON in the MENU allows landscapes to switch automatically according to time and season, simulating a real window view that intuitively indicates the time of day.

This is not random—liked landscapes appear more often, and popular or newly added landscapes are prioritized while still offering new discoveries.

To adjust settings:
MENU > Settings > General > Auto

If you don’t want a specific landscape to appear in Auto mode:
Landscape Details Page > Exclude from Auto

Here’s an example of a landscape set to “Exclude from Auto”… (Definitely spooky!)

Views

Even though we’re focusing on features other than views, views are still the heart of Atmoph!

Tap the view name in the MENU to see its detailed page. Press the country or region name to learn more about the location, its language, religion, or geography. You’ll get to know and love these places even more!

Tap the map to open a world map, and explore new views by moving the globe or pinching to zoom.
